Mr. Niraj Lamsal

Acting Chief Executive Officer (ACEO)

Mr. Lamsal was appointed Chief Credit Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2018. 

Experience

Mr. Lamsal has 24 years of banking experience and significant professional accountancy and finance experience, specifically focused in the financial services sector.

Career

Mr. Lamsal joined Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd. (NB Bank) as a Management Trainee in year 2000 and became a branch in-charge in the same year. He spent more than 17 years as a full-time banker and became a Senior Manager working in different leadership positions during his tenure at NB Bank. He stepped down from NB Bank in 2018 to join Prabhu Bank Ltd.

Mr. Lamsal has played a major role on managing the credit portfolio of the bank by monitoring and performing day to day credit risk and recovery related issues of the bank, ensure quality risk assets by assessing the loan proposals in compliance with NRB directives and credit policy guidelines & other relevant papers of the bank, monitor and manage of non-performing assets (NPA) and non-banking assets (NBA) of individual branches ant its overall status at country level, process and ensure of the write-off of non-recoverable loan accounts including case lodge at DRT and other authority (as appropriate) as per the policy/guideline papers of the bank & NRB guidelines.

Currently, Mr. Lamsal is serving the bank as  Acting Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Renu Prasad Pandey

Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Appointed

Mr. Pandey was appointed as Head – Credit Administration Department of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2009.

Experience

Mr. Pandey is an expert on sales of diversified banking products/services and has ample experience of 19 years in the banking managerial and leadership position.

Career

Mr. Pandey began his career in the financial industry as a Junior Executive Officer in December 2004, and worked in a managerial level at various organizations such as NCC and NIC Bank. During his working career of more than 16 years in financial sector, Mr. Pandey served at various leadership positions such as Country Head –SME & Retail, Head – Operations Risk Department, Regional Head, Head – Central Operations, Head – Deposit Marketing, Head – Consumer Banking Department,Chief Business Officer and so on.

Besides working as a full time banker, Mr. Pandey has published multiple articles related to Economy & Banking through national level journals, conducted in house training programs to emerging bankers and has been awarded by different organizations for his involvement in various social accomplishments.

Currently, Mr. Pandey is serving the bank at Chief Audit Officer and Chief Risk Officer.

Ms. Rashmi Pant

CEO's Office

Appointed

Ms. Pant was appointed Business Planning Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2015 and became Chief Operating Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2020.

Experience

Ms. Pant is an aspiring banker possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills with versatile managerial experience as a dynamic intrapreneur with 9 years of banking experience.

Career

Ms. Pant is alumni of renowned Kathmandu University from where she initiated her professional career as a Graduate Research Assistant. Ms. Pant was also socially active where she worked with International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and helped to uplift the living standard of the society and made private sector more aware towards the burning issues of climate change. Since 2014, Ms. Pant is actively involved in National Youth Federation Nepal (NYFN) as a program coordinator and has launched various programs to support the youth of Nepal.

In March 2015, Ms. Pant was assigned as Business Planning Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. and has served the bank in different leadership positions such as Head Corporate Affairs, Head HR,Chief Corporate Planning Officer &Chief Operating Officer. During her tenure at the bank, Ms. Pant has significantly contributed to build a strategic framework for the bank, managed corporate affairs and relationships with key stakeholders, planned, monitored and supervised various banking mechanisms to increase the employee efficiency and has been currently managing the core responsibilities of the entire operations of the bank.

Besides working as a full time banker, Ms. Pant has published significant research articles related to Economy & Commodity through national magazines, worked as executive member in various non-profit institutions to create value for the society and has been awarded by both domestic and international organizations for her involvement in various social and academic accomplishments. 

Currently, Ms. Pant is serving the bank in CEO's Office.

Mr. Chiranjivi Budha Chhetri

Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Mr. Chhetri was appointed in July 2009 in the capacity of Manager Risk of the Bank and his current assignment is the Chief Finance Officer since May 2024.

Experience

He is in banking since 1999 and has worked in almost all areas of banking functions with extensive experience of banking industry. His wealth of experience spans finance & planning, risk management, policy & strategy formulation, credit management, credit sales, corporate financing, retail /microfinance and SME financing. He is equipped with a strong finance & planning background and deep experience of managing complex businesses across dynamic and emerging markets.

Career

Mr. Chhetri began his career with NIC Asia Bank Ltd. and worked on various responsibilities such as Customer Service, Marketing, General Admin., Retail Banking, Relationship Officer and Branch Manager. He also worked with Global IME Bank Ltd. as a Branch Manager and later joined Prabhu Bank Ltd. (Erstwhile Kist Bank) in 2009.

During his career in Prabhu Bank, Mr. Chhetri has served in different leadership positions such as Manager Risk, Manager - Special Project Cell, Cluster Head & Special Projects, Head - Microfinance, Regional Head & Member of Special Taskforce, Head - R&D, Chief Province Officer, Chief Risk Officer, etc.

With his diversified work experience background in banking, Mr. Chhetri possesses a complete understanding of finance functions and is responsible for overseeing the Bank's overall financial operations and planning. His skill to formulate financial strategies and plans aligned with the Bank's vision and goals, ensuring efficient resource allocation, optimizing profitability, and maintaining sustainable financial health has indeed in endeavor of the Bank to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable growth.

Mr. Chhetri is currently serving the Bank as Chief Finance Officer.

Mr. Ramesh Kumar Shrestha

Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Mr. Ramesh Kumar Shrestha was appointed as the Head of Research and Development at Prabhu Bank Limited following it’s acquisition of Century Commercial Bank Ltd. in 2023. Before joining Prabhu Bank, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Century Capital Markets Ltd.

Experience

With over 24 years of experience in the banking sector, Mr. Shrestha specializes in strategic planning, risk management, policy formulation, business development, loan recovery and overall banking operations.

Career

Mr. Shrestha began his banking career in 2001.He worked as a Relationship Officer at Himalayan Bank Ltd from 2007 and later joined Siddhartha Bank Ltd., where he held various leadership positions including Branch Manager and roles in the Remittance division.

His career saw significant growth when he joined Century Commercial Bank Ltd. as Chief Operating Officer in 2016.He was later promoted to Chief Deposit Marketing Officer in 2020 and subsequently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Century Capital Markets Ltd. in 2022.

Following the merger, he took on key roles at Prabhu Bank, including Head of Research and Development and Branch Manager of Kamaladi Branch, one of the bank’s largest branches.

In October 2024, Mr. Shrestha was appointed as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Prabhu Bank Ltd. Since then, he has successfully overseen the bank’s entire risk management framework and strategies covering Integrated Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Credit, Operational, Market, Liquidity and IT Security Risk Management. He has also implemented various risk mitigation tools to strengthen the bank’s resilience.

Currently, Mr. Shrestha continues to serve as the Chief Business Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd.

Mr. Manjay Raj Pandey

Chief Trade Officer (CTO)

Appointed

Mr. Pandey was appointed as Manager Risk of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2009 and became Chief Trade Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2023.

Experience

Mr. Pandey has more than 27 years of banking experience inclusive of managerial and senior managerial level experience of more than 16 years. His forte relies on the extensive experience in Trade Finance, Non Funded Business, Marketing and Business promotion involving strategic planning, portfolio management and stakeholder management.

Career

Mr. Pandey began his career as Assistant in Credit Department with Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. from year 1998 and later joined Kumari Bank Ltd. in April 2004 assuming various responsibilities such as Head of Centralized Foreign Trade Department, Corporate Credit Department, Relationship Manager and Branch Manager. He later joined Prabhu Bank Ltd. (Erstwhile KIST Bank) in year 2009.

During his career in Prabhu Bank, Mr. Pandey has served in different leadership positions such as Manager Risk, Head Central Trade Operations, Country Head Trade Services, Chief Marketing Officer and he's currently serving the Bank as Chief Trade Officer.

Besides working as a full time banker, Mr. Pandey is also enlisted in the roster of Trainers at NBI, actively engaged in service-oriented organizations like Leo/Lions Club and is also a coordinator of the Core Committee for Trade Finance at Nepal Banker's Association. Mr. Pandey has a proven track record of being a versatile banker by being indulged in both operation and business side of banking division. With his wealth of knowledge and experience especially in Trade Finance Mr. Pandey continues to play a pivotal role in shaping our bank's strategic direction, ensuring its growth and sustained excellence.

Mr. Pandey is currently serving the Bank as Chief Trade Officer.

Mr. Manish Pradhan

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Appointed

Mr. Pradhan joined Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2009.

Experience

With over 23 years of experience in the banking sector, Mr. Pradhan is the savant of Trade Finance, Non Funded business and Credit Sales.

Career

Mr. Pradhan started his career in Trade Finance with Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd. from year 2002 where he embarked on various assignments such as Trade Finance Operations, Guarantees, Card Operations, Relationship Officer, Branch Manager before joining Prabhu Bank Ltd. (erstwhile KIST Bank Ltd.). After joining Prabhu Bank Ltd, Mr. Pradhan has served multiple roles such as Branch Manager, Manager Operations, Head of Card, Head of HR and Head of Central Trade Operations.

Mr. Pradhan is currently serving the Bank as Chief Operating Officer from December 2023.
